Matthew McDarby, President & CSO
Matt is the co-founder of United Sales Resources, and he serves as the company’s President and Chief Sales Officer. In addition to leading USR’s sales effort, he leads the company’s research and advisory team and provides coaching and support to USR staff and customers.
Prior to founding USR, Matt served as the Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Huthwaite, one of the world’s leading sales training companies and creators of SPIN Selling. Before joining Huthwaite, he worked in sales, sales management, and consulting roles in the technology and professional services industries in the New York City and Washington, DC metropolitan areas. Matt has personally coached and advised hundreds of sales leaders in a wide range of industries, helping them to win new business and dramatically increase revenue. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware.

Jay Jurgens – Senior Consultant
Jay Jurgens is a professional sales executive with over 18 years of experience in sales, sales leadership and sales performance improvement. He has been a part of the USR team since March, 2013.
Jay has a long history of high achievement as a salesperson and manager in both product-driven and professional services sales environments. The majority of his career was with Canon USA, where he eventually rose to be the Director of Commercial Sales in the Washington, DC Region. Additionally, he worked in the sales performance improvement industry for Huthwaite as a Client Director.
Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland School of Business, and he resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Jeff Johnson – Senior Consultant
Jeff Johnson is a professional sales and sales leadership consultant, and he focuses on improving sales results for USR’s clients. He has worked with USR as a coach and client adviser since 2010.
Jeff has over ten years of experience helping clients to diagnose and address performance improvement opportunities to increase revenue, decrease costs and create value for customers. He is regarded for his out-of-the-box thinking and highly creative approach to addressing complex sales and marketing issues.
Before establishing his own sales coaching practice several years ago, he successfully sold sales performance improvement programs for market leader Huthwaite. Prior to that, he coached sales teams, held senior sales and management positions in two venture capital backed software start-ups and privately held software companies, and served ten years in sales, sales management, and operations management in the financial sector.
Jeff holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Marketing from the Southern Illinois University School of Business.
Alma Tejpar – Senior Consultant
Alma Tejpar is a marketing and sales management consultant with over twenty-five years experience in international sales and marketing. She joined the USR team as a coach and client adviser in 2012.
Alma is an accomplished, professional coach and facilitator with a strong creative flare. She brings a unique perspective on topics such as effective customer communications, organizational leadership and professional development. Her extensive work experience with senior sales leaders from across the globe has given her a unique perspective, making her a valuable asset to USR’s clients.
Her work has taken her through most countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Far East and Africa, putting her at ease in many cultures. In addition, Alma is fluent in English and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of French and Italian. Alma’s schooling in Adult Education took place at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia.
Daniel Grissom – Senior Consultant
Daniel Grissom is a sales and marketing professional with a twenty-year track record of great performance. Throughout his career, he has been known for his high-energy style and his unique ability to connect with his clients. He joined the USR team as a coach and client adviser in 2013.
Daniel’s professional sales experience includes positions as an account manager, national account manager, business alliance manager, professional sales coach and business owner. His diverse experiences have given him the ability to be a world-class communicator who is able to connect with business professionals and coach them to improve sales results. He helps his clients achieve greater results by taking a buyer-focused approach, and he teaches them how to create value for their customers at every turn.
Daniel earned his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, and obtained his Masters degree in business from Atlanta University. He has also studied under Tony Robbins at his Results Coaching Academy, and Daniel has earned his honorary PhD in Christian Education. He has worked with many of the world’s leading organizations to improve their sales performance including Google, McDonald’s, IBM, Bloomberg, Walgreens, NASDAQ and UPS.
Mark McCary – Strategic Partner
President, GTM B2B Consulting
Mark is a key advisor and partner for USR. Mark partners with USR and its clients by delivering target account sales solutions, sales accreditation programs, and account based marketing solutions. Mark is the founder and president of GTM B2B Consulting.
Before starting GTM B2B Consulting, Mark served in several key B2B sales and marketing leadership positions over more than twenty years with McGraw-Hill Financial, 3M, Dodge Data and Analytics, and eCivis. He routinely created and optimized global sales and marketing frameworks, launched successful targeted account-based sales initiatives, improved lead nurturing and opportunity close rates, and reduced sales cycle times for SaaS companies in the energy, construction and government sectors.
